Members earn points for attending ALD-sponsored events and volunteer events with other organizations. This system is designed to keep our members involved. We recommend that you earn all of your points within the first year after you join Alpha Lambda Delta. To receive free graduation cords, you must obtain a minimum of 15 points over the course of your education at WMU. As a reference, General Assembly Meetings account for 1 point while all other ALD volunteer events are 1 point.
The WMU ALD Executive Board keeps track of your points in our system. We are working on transitioning the points information to GreekTrack. We will keep you posted with any further developments and information regarding points tracking. Until the transition to GreekTrack, we recommend keeping track of your points yourself as well for reference. Here is a template to use if desired.
