Written by Danielle Snow. Danielle is a second-year sophomore studying Sociology and Gender and Women’s Studies. She is our chapter's Public Relations Chairperson and the Co-President and Co-Founder of the WMU RSO FemiNOW. Pre-Nursing major, Kara Talber is our Alpha Lambda Delta March member of the month. She was inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta in the Spring of 2015 and has been an awesome member ever since. “I joined ALD because I thought it would be a great way to meet new people,” said Kara. “I was also proud of myself for getting good enough grades to be invited to join.” Our organization strives to hold as many volunteering events as possible, it’s no wonder we have so many excited, volunteering members. Kara is a part of the excited bunch. “I am very glad I joined because I love volunteering, and ALD has given me many opportunities to volunteer both at WMU and in the community,” Kara said. She was actually one of our volunteers for our Spring 2016 inductions. She was not only able to get some volunteering points, but she was also able to see all the new inductees and congratulate them for joining ALD. “I love being a part of ALD, and I'm really glad I joined! Thanks again for choosing me for this honor!” said Kara about Alpha Lambda Delta. Congratulations, Kara!
