November Members of the Month: Max Wicklund & Lila Rode

Written by Katie Davis, a second-year student studying Exercise Science. She is also our chapter's Public Relations Chairperson.

Max is a third year here at Western with an Advertising and Promotion major and also a minor in Communication. He backpacked 75 miles of the Appalachian Trail this past summer! Max says that ALD has provided him the opportunity to get involved in the community in so many unique ways. Volunteering also allows him to engage with other WMU students that he may have never interacted with otherwise.

Lila is a 2nd year student with a Civil Engineering major. One fun fact about her is that she has been to over 30 concerts/festivals. She says that ALD has given her many opportunities to go outside of her comfort zone and be a leader, as an active member.🗣🙌🏻
